| Music and Parades at the Imperial Court |

| Over the centuries parades played an important role at the court of the Habsburg family.We follow the footsteps of the lifeguard from the times of emperor Maximilian I in the 15th century to the Swiss Guard of Maria Theresia and the special guards of emperor Francis Joseph and empress Elisabeth in the 19th century. A traditional changing of the guard with music performed by the original Viennese house regiment number 4, the so-called "Hoch- und Deutschmeister" , is the higlight of this walking tour through the imperial main residence, the Hofburg. |
