New developments near central station: Sonnwendviertel Ost, Neues Landgut
<p>Developments in recent years have completed the new character of the district around the main railway station: on the one hand, the Sonnwendviertel Ost, with the Bloch-Bauer-Promenade as a pedestrian zone and small-scale mixed-use buildings on both sides; on the other hand, the "Neues Landgut" quarter opposite Columbusplatz, characterized by urban density with an educational campus, municipal housing, a library, offices, and a restaurant around the new Walter-Kuhn-Park.</p>
