Do tours take place in any weather?
Yes, but make sure to wear warm clothes and good boots, as winters can get pretty cold in Vienna.

Is there any need to book in advance?
No booking is required for our regular public tours, only for groups of more than 5 people.

What is the price of a tour?
Adults EUR 12,-
VIENNA CARD-holders: EUR 11,-
Students up to 14: EUR 6,-
All prices are inclusive of 20% VAT, but exclusive of admission fees.
Some tours last longer and cost more.

Do group rates apply?
Basically yes, please contact individual guide.

Do the above prices also apply to privately booked tours?
Not automatically. Please contact the individual guide, prices vary according to length of tour and number of participants.

Can WALKING TOURS OF VIENNA be included in our general sightseeing programme of Vienna?
Yes, we are very flexible and can easily adapt our walking tours to suit your particular needs.

How do we recognise the guide?
You will recognise the guide by his/her RED AUSTRIA GUIDE–BADGE. Your guide will also hold up the red brochure of our walking tours.

Where do we meet our guide?
Please find meeting point listed with the respective tour. The number before the street name indicates the district where the tour takes place. Some tours leave from the Tourist Information Office on Albertinaplatz behind the State Opera, others in front of a church that can easily be found on the map, near an underground station or from specially designed "Wiener Spaziergänge" kiosks.

Are tours automatically conducted in English?
Tours are generally conducted in German. Those listed on our English website are conducted in both German and English (by request).
